Learning goal: I am learning how to summarise and to identify the story I am reading.
Success Criteria: I can summarise what I see and read. I can identify what I am reading and the words I have trouble in.

Silent reading challenge cards

Mrs Middleton has told us to do a challenge card slide. She sent us a PDF with challenge cards that has different thing for you to do.

My Typing Test

Learning goal:I am practising my typing so I can be quicker and more accurate.
Success Criteria:This will help me finish my work faster.

On Monday my results was 57 WPM because I am focusing on what I am typing.

On Friday my results was 51 WPM I am still working on typing the right words.

A Girl in the bottle

One day in the afternoon there was a little 5 year old girl walking along the beach, cause they were in a family vacation for the holidays. She was minding her own business. Then suddenly she heard a genie in a bottle saying, "hey little girl come over here". The girl said "why are you stuck in a bottle"? The genie said, "it's a long story, now come over here and let me free". The little girl did what he asked but questioned the genie a 2nd time. "Why are you stuck in the bottle". The genie said, "we have no time for this"!. The little girl removed the bottle cap off and set the genie free. The genie said, "at last i'm free". The little girl was laughing at his reaction. But she was shrinking and shrinking until she went in the bottle. She tried screaming and crying out for help but there was nobody.

Winter learning journey Activity 1: Reading a library book

I have read meet the Wizard sons. Its about the Wizard sons making a barbecue for the whole of freak street they had lots of problems with there spells especially Wyman.

I have read with a tiny expression.

I got some words incorrect.

Sometimes going back and forth.

My reading was not bad and was not excellent it was good but with a few mistakes.

I need to work on having a quick think of the word that I don't know. It is not just looking at it the word not knowing what it is and just saying the word you don't know.
